Official Bayer @ Puzzlehunt Rules

  1. Unlock puzzles by getting puzzle codes from talking to any Bayer employee. Each employee will give you one code.
  2. Solve the puzzles, individually or as a team. Have fun!
  3. If you solve at least one puzzle, stop by the Bayer table for your official “Puzzlehunt” pin! You may be asked to answer a question about the puzzle.
  4. If you solve all the puzzles, you qualify to enter a drawing for one of the grand prizes. We really want to keep the grand prize drawing *fair* so please respect the following rules if you want to enter:
    1. You may collaborate as a team to solve the puzzles. However, everyone who enters the drawing to win a prize must contribute to solving the puzzle. Each person in the group must have the puzzle open on their device while working on it.
    2. You must be a registered conference attendee to qualify for the prize drawing.
    3. Each conference attendee is allowed to enter the prize drawing exactly once. The following are all considered against the rules and could lead you (and your entire team if you are a part of one) to be disqualified:
      1. Entering the drawing more than once, e.g. by providing more than one e-mail address.
      2. Asking other attendees who did not collaboratively solve the puzzle to enter the drawing on your behalf (e.g. by feeding them a puzzle answer).
      3. Entering other attendees into the puzzle drawing for them with or without their knowledge.
      4. Picking up a prize for a non-registered conference attendee.
      5. In short, be a good sport. Don't be the person who proves we can't have nice things.
    4. We perform the grand prize drawing on Tuesday at noon. You can either be present for the drawing, or we will contact you via the information you provided when entering. It is okay to have someone pick up a prize for you, as long as you (1) worked on the puzzles yourself, and (2) are a registered conference attendee who was present during the conference.
  5. The Bayer Puzzlehunt Organizing team has sole discretion when it comes to enforcing these rules.
